JANE PAULEY: It had been a dream building for years to make our state capital a sports capital of the country and with Super Bowl 46 in Indianapolis in 2012 we were center stage.
Snippets of video show the half time show, people walking around on crowded streets around the stadiums, the façade of Lucas Oil Field, to crowds of people milling around on the football field.
JANE PAULEY: On February fifth, with 68,000 fans rocking Lucas Oil Stadium, and 166 million more, the largest audience in TV history watching, all eyes were on Indiana and Indianapolis won rave reviews.
Video clips show a person zip lining, tee shirts being sold, and Eli Manning holding up the Lombardi trophy.
JANE PAULEY: With spectacularly mild winter weather the game had a 300 million dollar economic impact and built a legecy practice field for Arsenal Tech. The New York Giants beat the Patriots that day but the city of Indianapolis had won the Super Bowl.
