Come support some of our upcoming events!

An Afternoon Celebration with Thomas and The Situation on Saturday, June 17th

Celebrate Black culture and music with us as part of your downtown events commemorating Juneteenth and African American Music Appreciation Month with Thomas & The Situation, a unique group of singers and musicians lead by Jeffery Thomas II, all originally from Indianapolis.

Volunteers are needed from 1pm-5pm to help with way finding, seating in the theater, and answering general visitor questions. Admission and parking provided.

All day programming on Tuesday, July 4th

IHS will be hosting activities throughout the day and volunteers are needed to assist with three programming stations:

  • Making fireworks out of pipe cleaners
  • Aging paper to make a Bill of Rights
  • Facilitating a game around state geography

Volunteers are needed from 9:30am to 1pm and 12:30pm to 4pm. Admission and parking provided
