Whodunit? Step Into Life-Size Murder Mystery at the Indiana Historical Society

October 20, 2022

Just in time for Halloween and the spooky season, the Indiana Historical Society (IHS) encourages Hoosiers to take part in a life-size, Clue-inspired experience at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center.

Whodunit? takes place on Friday, October 28 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The game is based on a real historic Indiana murder and gives participants the chance to put on their detective hats and hone their sleuthing skills by interviewing those closest to the victim, including the murderer themselves, to solve the who, why and with what. This mystery is set in the early 1900s — costumes are encouraged!

Starting at 7 p.m., participants make their way around the History Center to determine whodunit by questioning witnesses, reviewing evidence and solving puzzles. The first team to unravel the mystery wins a prize. Subsequent teams with correct answers are entered to win awesome prize packs, with a chance to win the best costume award. At 9:15 p.m., the murderer and the motive will be unveiled to all and winners announced.

Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. A cash bar and light refreshments are available. This event is sponsored by Sun King Brewery.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Indiana Historical Society members pay $20 a ticket. Register here: https://bit.ly/3VDqicu.
