Processed Collections Index

The William H. Smith Memorial Library holds approximately 5,000 processed manuscript and 500 visual collections, ranging in size from one item to many boxes. Online collection guides or collection descriptions for more than 2,000 of these collections are accessible on our Web site. If you know the name of the collection you are looking for, you can use the alphabetical index. Only collections underlined have collection guides available online.

All manuscript and visual collections at the Indiana Historical Society are available for use in the William H. Smith Memorial Library, and our staff can also provide additional information about them to remote researchers.
