Concerts on the Canal – Alboroto

As part of its celebration of Latino and Hispanic Heritage month, IHS will host a special Concert on the Canal on Oct. 3.

The Stardust Terrace Café and cash bar – all operated by Jonathan Byrd’s – opens at 5 p.m. Guests may bring their own food and nonalcoholic beverages to the concert. All alcohol must be purchased and consumed onsite.

The History Center exhibits will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with general admission. We welcome you to arrive early and explore the exhibit spaces.

Concert Details:
Due to the construction of the new Indiana State Archives building, no seating will be available on the grassy areas of the Canal Walk.

Tables of 8 are $90, and $70 for IHS members.
Tables of 4 are $65, and $45 for IHS members.
Tables #1-38 can seat up to (and no more than) 8 guests.
Tables #39-60 can seat up to (and no more than) 4 guests.

Event reservations are valid for the date and/or event of issue; no rain checks will be permitted. No pets and no smoking are allowed on the terrace. Free parking at the History Center is on a first-come basis. Nearby street or garage parking is available for a fee. Note that current construction will result in limited available street parking on both New York and Ohio Streets.

Food and beverage service will be available from the Stardust Terrace Café operated by Jonathan Byrd’s. Concert Menu

NOTES:
*These procedures may be changed as a result of updated guidance from local government and health officials.

  • Tables will be sold as full tables and separate groups will not share tables.
    • Single seats will not be available.
    • No seating will be permitted on the Terrace stairways or along the History Center entryways.
