Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work?
The game’s afoot at 7 p.m. Grab your clue packet and make your way around the History Center to determine whodunit by questioning witnesses and solving puzzles. The first team to unravel the mystery wins a prize. Subsequent teams with correct answers are entered to win awesome prize packs, with a chance to win the best costume award. At 9:15 p.m., the murderer and the motive will be unveiled to all and winners announced.
What should I wear?
Costumes would be great, as long as you can move freely around the History Center. This year’s mystery is set in the early 1900s if that helps your scheming to win our best costume prize. Please refrain from pulling out masks that fully cover your face or weapons.
Do I complete by myself or as a team?
Either! You’ll decide when you turn in your answer card. Though we think sleuthing is more fun as a team.
Can I bring the kids?
This event is rated PG-13 and may include blood, illicit activities or ladies of the night. We’ll let you decide who is appropriate to bring.
