It’s that time of year to cuddle up inside with a good book — and the Indiana Historical Society’s (IHS) annual Holiday Author Fair is just the place the find the perfect read for you!
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Holiday Author Fair is taking place online Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6. Book lovers will still have the chance to connect with some of their favorite authors via Zoom, as several writers will join in to share details of their latest books as well as insight into their careers and work.
There is no admission cost, but advance registration is required for each webinar. Space for each session is limited to the first 500 registrants, but overflow viewing for some sessions may be offered through Facebook Live. Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions for the authors during each Zoom session.
The Holiday Author Fair schedule is as follows, though may be subject to change:
Saturday, December 5
Sunday, December 6
Author Fair guests can purchase copies of each presenter’s books from IHS’s Basile History Market and receive 10% off of all Holiday Author Fair titles when purchasing this weekend. Guests will also receive a signed bookplate for those books when purchased through the Basile History Market.
