Indianapolis—Beginning March 20, 2010, an Indiana Historical Society membership is more valuable than ever. In addition to existing benefits, IHS members will receive complimentary admission to the Indiana Experience at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center that would maximize the new visitor experience. The History Center is located at 450 W. Ohio St. in downtown Indianapolis.
More than 7,500 people support the IHS’s efforts to preserve, protect and share our rich Hoosier heritage. Member participation helps ensure that Indiana treasures stay in the state, that they are carefully preserved and that our schoolchildren learn about their past.
Benefits for all IHS membership levels include:
History Patron – $500
Receives all benefits of the Benefactor level plus an invitation to join the members of the Council of 1816 – our most prestigious donor club – for one special event each year; invitation to an intimate, behind-the-scenes tour of our Collections, Conservation Lab and Indiana Experience exhibits; and two complimentary visitor passes.
