The Indiana Historical Society is partnering with the Chicago Botanic Garden this Spring to offer adult education classes to help you better enjoy your garden.
Reap rewards by blending native plants into ornamental gardens. Explore stunning native selections to bridge from traditional to natural landscapes loaded with color, movement, texture, and wildlife. Discover some native and ornamental plant combinations that coexist well due to similar growing needs. Learn about plants that are adaptable to conditions like heavier clay and wet areas. Layering natives with exotics provides season-long interest and the generous biodiversity needed by pollinators, songbirds, and beneficial insects. Please note: times listed above are Central time zone.
