For more than three weeks visitors can celebrate Asian cultures through our traveling exhibit, Be Heard: Asian Experiences in Indiana and a display of cultural outfits representing multiple nations and regions of Asia. In Lilly Hall, an inspiring display of large cultural objects and a resource table will also be available.
During the dates listed below, visitors can experience additional activities like performances, food demonstrations, and arts and crafts activities!
Saturday, May 18, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Art and learning activities including: Tangram blocks, cherry blossom painting, Ddakji (South Korean game), and calligraphy art
11 a.m. – Samyoga School of Dance, Bharatanatyam (traditional Indian dance)
12:30 p.m. – Food demonstration with Hanako Gavio, demonstrating how to make Japanese Rice Balls
2 p.m. – Indianapolis Chinese Orchestra
2:30 p.m. – Food demonstration with SAYAW Philippine Cultural Dance Group
Saturday, May 25, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

1:30 p.m. – Okinawa Yuyukai, Okinawan drumming
