Stay connected with the stories of your state while you’re stuck at home. Bring your own beverage and join us for a series of insightful conversations with some of Indiana’s most interesting historians.

Underwear Through the Ages 

Our unmentionables have changed dramatically over the last two centuries. Peer under the skirts of our past and explore the intimate relationship between underwear and fashion with fashion historian Karen DePauw.  

Free. Additional opportunities available to support the IHS Programs and Collections.

Richmond’s Gennett Studio recorded the sounds of the Jazz age in the 1920s, seeing country, R&B, and blues legends such as Hoagy Carmichael, Louis Armstrong, and Jelly Roll Morton. Get in the groove with author and historian Charlie Dahan to hear the stories behind Indiana’s iconic recording studio.
