Additional opportunities available to support IHS as we continue collecting, preserving, and sharing Indiana’s history.

Stay connected with the stories of your state while you are at home.
Bring your own beverage and join us for a series of  insightful conversations with some of Indiana’s most interesting historians.

What is lying under Indianapolis streets? We’ll give you a hint: it’s an extensive network of streetcar lines. Join us for a conversation with urban planner Austin Gibble, archeologist David Klinge, and architectural historian Leah Konicki to uncover the roots of Indianapolis’ interurban system and how it intersects with new plans for rapid transit bus lines.

Presented by the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo) as part of the Purple Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. IndyGo is Marion County’s public transit provider and proud to serve the great residents and visitors of Marion County and Indianapolis.
This program is brought to you with support from OneAmerica Financial Partners, a national provider in the insurance and financial services marketplace.
