Some of our most valued family treasures can be brittle and fragile papers. These can present a daunting task of exploring identifying characteristics, carefully handling while searching for clues and caring and storing these pieces for future generations. Join IHS conservators Stephanie Gowler and Kathy Lechuga on a journey through paper. We’ll explore historical trends and structural clues to help date and identify the origins of these objects, preservation and handling guidelines, and resources to so much more.
