Cole Porter Room

Come into the Cole Porter Room – designed to evoke the style of New York’s famed Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.

Once inside, immerse yourself in the 1940s-inspired, cabaret-style setting featuring a digital grand player piano and photographs that span Porter’s life, social circle and travels. Listen to an elegantly dressed interpreter performing Porter standards* – and sing along if you want to!

To learn more about this Indiana legend and national treasure, pull up a stool at the bar and watch a montage of film footage and still pictures that bring Cole Porter’s musical heritage to life on a large flat-screen monitor.

Cole Porter, born in Peru, Ind., is a composer and songwriter best known for songs like “Night and Day” and “I Get a Kick Out of You” and the musicals Anything Goes and Kiss Me, Kate.
