In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Indiana Historical Society, in partnership with Magic Thread Cabaret, is hosting a special concert to honor the profound impact Latino music has had on American popular culture.
“Cabaret Latino, Songs of the Americas” is a bilingual revue of songs celebrating and paying tribute to singers, songwriters, and musicians from Latin American countries. Through this event, Magic Thread Cabaret seeks to foster understanding and build bridges through the transformative power of music, showcasing how Latino music has shaped society throughout history.
Tickets are $30 for general admission, $25 for seniors, students, and IHS members, and can be purchased online at KleinandAlvarez.com or at the door.
The 90-minute concert celebrates Latino music throughout Mexico, South America, the Caribbean, and the U.S. The setlist includes classics such as “Cielito Lindo,” “De Colores,” “Quizás, Quizás,” and “La Bamba,” as well as contemporary hits by international superstars Shakira, Selena, Gloria Estefan and Bad Bunny. Audiences will also be dazzled by the ten-piece Cabaret Latino band and dance numbers representing Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil. For more details, visit KleinandAlvarez.com.
