The event will begin with a book signing from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, followed by brief remarks from Pence and a question-and-answer session in the Basile Theater from 7 to 8 p.m.
The event is $25 per person for the program only or $50 for the program and a copy of the book. Tickets are required, and books will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Indiana Historical Society’s education and outreach programs.
Published by Simon and Schuster, “So Help Me God” by Vice President Mike Pence recounts his journey from his youth in Columbus, Ind., to the vice presidency. It is the inside story of the Trump Administration by its second-highest ranking official and of a profound faith that has guided Pence throughout his life. The most robust defense of the Trump record of anyone who served in the administration, “So Help Me God” also chronicles President Trump’s severing of their relationship on January 6, 2021, when Pence kept his oath to the Constitution.
Mike Pence served as the 48th Vice President of the United States (2017-2021), the 50th Governor of Indiana (2013-2017), and as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives (2001–2013).
