Indiana Historical Society’s Popular Holiday Author Fair Goes Virtual

December 1, 2020

It’s that time of year to cuddle up inside with a good book — and the Indiana Historical Society’s (IHS) annual Holiday Author Fair is just the place the find the perfect read for you!

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Holiday Author Fair is taking place online Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6. Book lovers will still have the chance to connect with some of their favorite authors via Zoom, as several writers will join in to share details of their latest books as well as insight into their careers and work.

There is no admission cost, but advance registration is required for each webinar. Space for each session is limited to the first 500 registrants, but overflow viewing for some sessions may be offered through Facebook Live. Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions for the authors during each Zoom session.

The Holiday Author Fair schedule is as follows, though may be subject to change:

Saturday, December 5

  • 11 a.m. – Rob Harrell, author of “Wink”
  • 12:30 p.m. – Jade Gurss, author of “John Andretti: Racer,” and Jarett Andretti
  • 2 p.m. – John Mutz, author of “An Examined Life: The John Mutz Story”
  • 3:30 p.m. – Tina Conner and Marsh Davis, authors of “Indiana Landmarks: Rescued and Restored”
  • 5 p.m. – Leah Johnson, author of “You Should See Me in a Crown”
  • 7 p.m. – Andrea Neal and Jason Lantzer, authors of “Great is Thy Faithfulness – A Bicentennial History of the Meridian Street United Methodist Church”

Sunday, December 6
