The Indiana Historical Society (IHS) invites you and your book-loving friends to enjoy free admission to the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center as part of Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday, April 30.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests can shop the Basile History Market’s brand-new product lines and get amazing prices on a huge selection of books. There will be door prizes, treat bags for kids and a free gift with a purchase of $30 or more.
In addition, the IHS Library will hold a book sale at the Welcome Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring de-accessioned, out-of-scope or duplicate printed titles. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the IHS Stewardship Fund, which is used for new library acquisitions.
Independent Bookstore Day is celebrated nationally on the last Saturday in April, supporting independent bookstores across the country online and in-store.
