Join us as we use literacy skills and primary sources to look at making cross-curricular connections focusing on Japanese American Internment during World War II – all while weaving Indiana’s stories to the national narrative. Educators will walk away from this three-hour seminar with standards-based activities and ready-to-implement resources to use in the classroom. This workshop is appropriate for teachers of all social studies, ethnic studies, humanities and literacy subjects for grades five through 12. Participants are eligible for 3 PGPs.
