Lazy River Jazz Band Premiere
The Lazy River Jazz Band was formed in 2026 to play classic Dixieland songs and stylings based on Dixieland greats such as Louis Armstrong, Jack Teagarden, Al Hirt, Bobby Hackett, Eddie Condon, and more. The hand-selected band, led by trumpeter Sam Butler, is composed of recent Indiana University Jazz studies graduates, students, and faculty. They will bring a fast-paced program of familiar tunes played in the authentic Dixieland style.
