We invite homeschool families to think like a historian with IHS educators! Historians collect information from images and text, then analyze that information and draw conclusions based upon evidence. Libraries and archives, just like the Indiana Historical Society, are places where historians can see primary source evidence of the past. Through hands-on activities, students will practice image and historical text analysis to help develop their critical thinking skills, which are vital in learning all subjects. While students of all ages are welcome, this program will specifically target students in grades 4-8. Participants will also receive free admission to the Indiana History Center.
Check-in begins at 9:45 a.m.
