History Happy Hour: The Equal Rights Amendment

Free Program
Additional opportunities available to support IHS as we continue collecting, preserving, and sharing Indiana’s history.

Women have been fighting for the ERA, a constitutional amendment stating gender equality, for almost a century. Join us for a conversation with Dr. Erin Kempker as we explore the tumultuous debates to ratify the ERA in our conservative heartland, and the movement’s unlikely success in Indiana.

Registration closes 2 hours prior to the start of the program.

This program is brought to you with support from OneAmerica Financial Partners, a national provider in the insurance and financial services marketplace.
