Indy Pride

Come celebrate a month of Pride with Indy Pride’s Director of Education, Jayne Walters! Indy Pride organizes the Indy Pride Festival and Parade, as well as other events around Indianapolis. We will discuss the origins of Indy Pride as well as its impact as an education resource for the LGBTQ+ community of Indiana.

First established in 1995, Indy Pride organized the Indy Pride Festival but has since grown to help the Central Indiana community by hosting events which educate others are LGBTQ+ issues as well as helping coordinate multiple events such as charities, facilitate education events, and raise awareness on key issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community.

Free Program. Additional opportunities available to support IHS as we continue collecting, preserving, and sharing Indiana’s history.

Registration closes 2 hours prior to the start of the program.
