Registration closes 2 hours prior to the start of the program.

Free Program
Additional opportunities available to support IHS as we continue collecting, preserving, and sharing Indiana’s history.

Stay connected with the stories of your state while you are at home.
Bring your own beverage and join us for a series of  insightful conversations with some of Indiana’s most interesting historians.

During WWI, Evansville contributed over 3000 people to the war effort. Over 150 of those individuals were women, serving both overseas and stateside. As we approach the 102nd anniversary of Armistice, or the end of WWI, we recognize and highlight the contributions made by Hoosier women. Join Amber Gowen, Vanderburgh County Archivist, as she shares the In Service of Mercy Project and the stories she has uncovered of Indiana’s hidden WWI heroes.

This program is presented by Lake City Bank.
