Join us for Asian Fest! Experience Asian culture, food, and arts without getting on a plane. Asian American Alliance Inc. (AAAI) will host the 17th Asian Fest on May 13, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Indiana Historical Society to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

This free event is family-friendly and welcomes everyone. Indiana has been home to more than 175,000 Asian American and Pacific Islander people representing more than 45 countries.

There will be live music and dance performances from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. from more than 15 arts institutes, and Lilly Hall will be abuzz with arts and hands-on activities.

It wouldn’t be Asian Fest without food. So bring an appetite to enjoy delicious food and drinks. AAAI will also host free health screenings and healthy lifestyle counseling services.

“As much as Asian Fest is a fun festival, it also serves as an education program for Hoosiers to learn about Asian culture. One can learn about a new musical instrument, art form, language and history,” said AAAI President Rupal Thanawala.
