This year, we’ll be near the Family Fun Park from August 1 through 17, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy the free exhibit and learn something about our great state! Remember, the State Fair is closed on Mondays.
This year, the Indiana History Train will be displaying the Rivers, Rails, & Roads exhibit. Rivers, Rails, & Roads explores transportation in Indiana, including traveling along the Ohio River in the early 1800s, connecting families and communities through railways, and challenges faced when traveling via automobile.
The Mobile History Center is a multi-use trailer that can travel around the state to serve as an additional outreach resource for the Indiana Historical Society. This year, the Mobile History Center will be displaying historic images of past Indiana State Fairs, as well as fun and educational Indiana history videos.
