Holiday Author Fair 2026

The Indiana Historical Society’s 24rd Annual Holiday Author Fair Presented by Printing Partners is scheduled for Dec. 5th, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in downtown Indianapolis.

We are now accepting applications for participants in the 2026 Holiday Author Fair through August 2nd. A selection committee will review applications and titles based on the following criteria:

  • Featured title must have been published on or after April 1, 2025.
  • Author has spent significant time in Indiana or is a nationally recognized author on a fall tour and/or the book pertains to Indiana.
  • Work must be suitable for an IHS signature event (professionally printed and bound).
  • The Basile History Market must be able to purchase books at standard wholesale discounts (40% or higher).
  • The Basile History Market must be able to return any unsold books for a refund or credit.
  • Consignment books chosen need to be dropped off and picked up at author’s expense.

We have an established history and take great measures to ensure a variety of genres and price points are available for our shoppers. To have your title considered, please submit one review copy (advance reader’s copies and galleys are permitted if the book is not yet printed) in addition to submitting the below form. Review copies will not be returned.

Please send titles to be reviewed to: Indiana Historical Society Attn: Becke Bolinger Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center 450 West Ohio Street Indianapolis, IN 46202

If selected, you will be required to provide an electronic version of your book cover.

The form must be filled out completely and must be received by Aug. 2nd. Due to an overwhelming number of applications and limited space, we are unable to accept all entries. We will send formal invitations to accepted authors by Sept. 1. Please note that all book sales will run through the Basile History Market.

If you have any questions, please contact Becke Bolinger Manager, National and Retail Sales at bbolinger@indianahistory.org or (317) 234-3683.

All correspondence will be sent directly to the person listed as author. It is the author’s responsibility to pass along information to the co-author.
