Going Out, Digging In – Mounds State Park
Come along as we dig into the past and meet the archaeologists who explore Indiana’s history. Delve into the state’s archaeology with behind-the-scenes tours and chances to get your hands dirty. On this excursion to Mounds State Park, we will explore earthworks created by the Adena-Hopewell people and learn the more recent history that archaeologists are uncovering.
$25; $20 members. Includes behind-the-scenes experience, a snack, entry and parking. We will meet at the site.
