Digging In Her Heels

Imagine if Susan B. Anthony and her pals had iPads and Twitter. Maybe it wouldn’t have taken 72 years to win the vote. Performed by Sally Perkins, Digging In Their Heels is an interactive, engaging story of women’s battle for the ballot that inspires audiences to keep digging for justice as they marvel, laugh and learn from women who paved the way.

Free. Online via Zoom.

This event is part of the Suffrage Centennial Block Party celebrating the 100th anniversary of women voting in Indiana! Join scholars, thinkers, artists, and our Hoosier community for a week of free talks, parties, workshops, happy hours, and fun. Online and in your own backyard.

This program is brought to you by the Indiana Historical Society, in conjunction with the Indiana Women’s Suffrage Centennial CommissionEiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western ArtIndiana Humanities, Indiana State Museum and Indiana Statehouse Tour Office
