Concerts in America – Laura Lootens

Laura Lootens is one of today’s most exciting classical guitarists, known for her powerful sound, fearless virtuosity, and striking stage presence. Her performances are driven by contrast, drama, and expressive depth. In the 2025/26 season, she makes major debuts at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Festspiele Mecklenburg Vorpommern, alongside three U.S. tours and an Australia tour. Her second album Diabolico (Naïve, 2025) was selected as an Apple Music “Album of the Month,” and critics praise her exceptional command of the instrument. A former prodigy, she began university at fifteen, and she joined the faculty of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich at the age of just twenty two.
