Circus Day

It’s the most fun we have all year!

Clown around with us during our annual Circus Day! It’s a fun celebration of Indiana’s circus tradition, and it’s all about the kids!

Try your hand at carnival games to win great prizes. See exciting stage performances and enjoy face painting, balloon sculptures and crafts. Indulge in your favorite carnival foods like popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones. Get sill with our photo opps and, of course, visit the Indiana Experience.

Indiana connection to the circus industry dates back to the late 1800s, when businessmen from a number of Indiana cities assembled traveling “mud shows” featuring exotic animals, performers, clowns and human oddities.

By the early 1900s, the circus industry had grown – becoming the most popular form of entertainment in the United States. A number of the nations’ premier shows set up winter quarters in Indiana, establishing a lasting link between the circus and the Hoosier State.

Free admission. Concession and activity tickets are 50 cents each.
Concessions and activities are 2 to 8 tickets. Complimentary parking is available on a first come, first served basis.
