These programs are designed to give teachers and pre-service teachers new ideas, tips and tools for the classroom.

The Real Stuff: Using Primary Sources in the Classroom

$15 per person, which includes The Real Stuff resources booklet

Discover new ways to present history to students through primary sources. This workshop will help teachers develop ways to incorporate the items left behind in history such as letters, diaries, photographs and artifacts into engaging classroom experiences.

$15 per person, which includes Building an American Icon resources booklet

Explore the Lincoln legacy through political cartoons, portraits and prints. The workshop will present new ideas for using the Society’s rich Lincoln collections in the classroom. Participants will learn how to develop stimulating activities and lessons with these items.
