BIOGRAPHiCAL SKETCH

Uma Borman was from Covington (Fountain County), Indiana. She married Charles V. Keller in Fountain County on 4 July 1887.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection consists of one autograph album that belonged to Uma Borman of Covington, Indiana.

The album includes signatures and stanzas of poems written by Borman’s male and female friends, possibly at the end of three successive school years. Some signatures include dates and locations, most commonly Covington, Indianapolis, and Hillsboro, Indiana. Dates associated with the signatures range from 1881 to 1883.
