    LOCAL HISTORY SERVICES:: Orphans Corner
  The Local History Services Department serves as a "clearing house" for used items and materials, aka "orphans," that might be useful to local historical organizations. The availability of these items has been announced in one or more past issues of Communique Online. If you are not subscribed to this online newsletter, e-mail the Local History Services office and ask to be added to the distribution list.

If your organization has deaccessioned artifacts, exhibit components, books, office equipment or other materials that it would like to donate to another nonprofit organization, please contact Jeannette Rooney to arrange for a free listing in the Orphans Corner section of Communique Online.

To arrange to adopt any orphans listed on this page, please contact Jeannette Rooney at jrooney@indianahistory.org or (317) 233-8913. Most orphans will be given "as is" and as unrestricted gifts either by their owners or by the Indiana Historical Society.

Orphans Corner Items:

No items available as of April 3, 2009.
