Canal Plaza Gets a New Name:
Kruse Family Stardust Terrace
Kruse Family

The Kruse Family made a $500,000 gift to the Campaign for the Indiana Experience. Canal Plaza will be called the Kruse Family Stardust Terrace in their honor.

“We are proud to be supporting the Indiana Historical Society and applaud their efforts to keep history alive now and for future generations,” says Katie Kruse. “Whether one’s family has lived in Indiana for generations or is new to the state, it’s important to recognize and learn about those who have gone before us. My father, Wilson Mothershead, always said that if you take something out of a community, you have an obligation to give something back. The Mothershead Foundation and the Richard Kruse and Matthew Lacy families are proud to be doing just that.”

For information on how to make a gift to the Campaign for the Indiana Experience, please contact the IHS Development Office at (317) 233-6578 or development@indianahistory.org. More details, including a video
about the Indiana Experience, are available here.
