History comes to life in exciting new ways this spring at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center. See, hear and do history in immersive, interactive experiences, including You Are There: 1945 Hoosier Home Front, INvestigation Stations and the History Lab. These are free and open to the public 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.

Step back in time through a historic photograph to January, 1945. In this faithfully re-created grocery store setting, costumed interpreters share details of everyday life during World War II. Help run the store, fill orders using a ration book and talk about war-time events. See, hear and touch history because…You Are There. |
